HAWT NEW MUSIC VIDEO! The Fire and Reason!

These guys have been on my radar for a while and I'm always excited for their next steps.

They have performed at Nacotheque and blew away our audience w/ Bellas vivacious, roaring vocals and curvaceous, hips and Steve's rad electro/rock beats.

Watch The Fire and Reason music video for "This Isn't Love" by Olivia Hodges. Enjoy!

"It's no shocker that former electro-clash Svengali and New York club-music impresario Larry Tee plans to release the debut album from this fresh-from-the-streets-electro-rock act. A combination of Lower East Side rock chick, '80s Madonna, South American hipster and international jet-setter, Saona has that effortless star quality that sets some electro-rockers a few nothches higher right off the bat. The band has the potential to break electro-rock in the mainstream—they could give the Ting Tings a run for their money." Time Out Chicago

Formed in 2006 by Bella Saona(from Brazil) and Steve Narvaez(from Ecuador) The Fire and Reason(TFaR) have made their beats harder, their basslines drrtier and their songs even more decadent than in previous incarnations. Imagine a rabid Karen O singing over tracks written by MSTRKRFT and remixed by JUSTICE! In a major coup TFaR got Parisian THE TOXIC AVENGER to remix their infectious hit "NME", and really put a BIG STOMP in the electro-dance world. Singing in both Spanish (Mi Corazon) and Portuguese (Preste Atençao) TFaR remain true to their Latin roots. From full on ROCK to Baile Funk to Electro-POP Dance that gets played out live with bassist Lee Greenman , their LIVE show is truly where they are making their mark.

The Fire and Reason have also been invading the worlds’ of TV and Film. Landing placements in various upcoming projects. Their aptly titled vampire anthem “Teeth” is being used in the upcoming DMX, Micael Madsen, and Vinnie Jones, film “The Bleeding”. Their ode to teen rebellion “Do It Again” has been chosen to be the theme song for the BRAND NEW MTV Reality show "House of Jazmin" which centers around Jazmin Whitley, the 19 year old designer of the Li Cari fashion line. If this all wasn’t exciting enough The Fire and Reason WON the NewNowNext Award for Brink of Fame: Music Artist. They will be performing LIVE on the awards show which tapes 5/20 in NYC and airs 6/13 on Logo(MTV/VH1 Networks).
